How a DealerSites site works
A dealer site on DealerSites is your own website with an admin your staff use every day, plus a listing on this marketplace. This page walks through the pieces in the order you will use them.
Your domain and hosting
The site runs on your own domain, on Cloudflare's network, which is why the pages load in under a second on desktop. There is no server to maintain and nothing for you to update.
Adding a unit
From the admin, tap New unit and fill in the year, make, model, price and the specs you know. Tap Generate and a description is drafted from what you entered plus your notes. Edit it, or keep it.
Photos from a phone
Take the photos on the lot and upload them from the same phone. They are resized before they leave the phone, so the upload is quick and the pages stay fast. Drag to reorder, and pick the one that leads.
Publishing and Sale pending
Publish puts the unit on your site and on DealerSites within fifteen minutes. When a deposit comes in, mark it Sale pending and the badge shows on both.
Leads
Inquiries from your site and from DealerSites land in your leads inbox and your email, with the unit named and the buyer's phone and email. Archive what is handled.
Credit applications
Buyers apply online from a unit page. Social security and license numbers are encrypted and never emailed; your staff open the application signed in, and download a PDF for the lender.
Analytics
Google Analytics and Search Console show inside your admin, so you can see what people searched for and which units they looked at without a second login.
Your listing on DealerSites
Your units appear here, in searches across every dealer on the platform, with your logo on each card. Every listing links back to the unit on your site.
Staff access
Staff sign in with a one-time code sent to their email. There are no passwords to keep track of, and you decide who is on the list.
