2018 Forest River R-Pod RP-180 Hood River Edition

This 2018 Forest River R-Pod RP-180 is the Hood River Edition, a compact travel trailer set up for two. Dry weight is about 2,700 lbs, so it tows easily behind a small truck or SUV.

Outside, it has a box awning, aluminum wheels, all-LED lighting, rain gutters, tinted safety glass, and outside speakers. Up front there is a power tongue jack, a sealed battery box, and a battery disconnect. Manual scissor jacks handle the stabilizing. There is a quick connect for a propane grill, a 6-gallon water heater, an outside shower with hot and cold water, low-point drains, a black tank flush, a 30-amp detachable cord, and a spare tire. There is plenty of outside storage.

Inside, a Fantastic reversible roof fan sits over the kitchen, and 11,500 BTU air conditioning keeps it cool. The kitchen has a Dometic refrigerator with LED lighting, a Suburban two-burner glass-top stove, and a stainless convection microwave. A Jensen stereo plays DVDs, CDs, and MP3s through both the inside and outside speakers, and there is a TV of about 22 inches. Day and night shades, USB ports, and LED lighting run throughout, and the bathroom has a full shower.
